So. Angie and I planned months ago that we're gonna write a book after the exams. A best-seller."The Stupid Lies That Men Don't Know They Tell."And I would really like this to be in our introduction. Perfect example of how men's silly lies are incorporated into so many parts of everyday life & encoded in such a way that we barely even notice it anymore. Bulletins of GodAll the lonely poets' workAnd all the words at their commandWould not be enough to prove my loveThat I'll always be your manSo look for signs among the cloudsThe way that kindness moves in airO let the infinite speak out loudAbout the life that we should shareChorusThe stars at night are bulletins of GodThat you and I should never be apartThe universe reveals itself in codeThat you will always own my heartLet us go then, you and IThe evening spread against the skyAnd all the while the wind will prove my loveAnd the rivers flowing byAnd when the years have made us oldTowards the closing of our daysThe atmosphere will repeat my callAnd the rain will sing your praiseHow can we promise 'forever'? Big sweeping statements don't do anything. Some things may be beautiful when watched on a stage or some songs touch the heartstrings while a beautiful voice sings it, but beneath everything, it is all still a manifestation of another world. A world based on our world, yes, but which contains elements of the illusory.
Get a grip on your sense of reality, yo.
