Hot Sunday Afternoon
The weather is getting unbearably hot. Even here in my aircon room, experiencing my triumph over finishing reading The Changeling for class tmr, I can feel the heat thru my windows. Ugh. I can't stand heat! Wish it could get a little cooler.
This long weekend has been pretty good. Went shopping with Angie and Nat yesterday, and those 2 did a terrible job in attempting to replace Char as my Shopping Conscience. I have decided that only Char can do that job well. So Char, hurry up and get back here! I miss you!! I miss talking to you and I miss laughing with you and everything! =l
Dinner at CPK with the CAC peeps, some of whom I haven't seen in a looooong time, was good too. Catching up over pizzas can get really fun! But of cos, a good day must always come with 1 bad thing, or else it wouldn't be complete, right? -- I saw Bernard when I was walking into CPK. He was having dinner there too. Well when I saw him, I got this really irritated feeling. I just think that after everything, our relationship has dissolved into nothing, and the only thing that I even got out of it was to associate the feeling of Annoyance with him. That's not good, is it??
But oh well, got over that, and had a great evening with CAC over dinner, and then again over dessert/coffee at Dome. Now, this is life! Catching up with a bunch of wonderful people over good food. =)
So it's Sunday again, and another school week looming ahead. Tutorials start this week. At least CORS was really nice to me this sem, I got all my modules for 1 point except for Representing Asians. And my tutorial-balloting went without a hitch too, probably because I chose 9am tutorials. Nobody else would be crazy enough to want them as first choice. Haha. But it works for me, so ain't complaining (yet).
