Yes indeed, Angie and I have waited for this day for what seems like forever. It feels so long ago when she found the SQ deal for cheap fares to Perth and we basically booked our flight on a whim -- I don't think we spent more than 24 hours thinking about it. In fact, we booked our tickets only 3 hours before the offer expired -- after a mad rush to find out if she could use her brother's credit card cos I was at a party and was shuttling between frantic phone calls from her to ask if I could use my supp card and the party itself, and finally using her brother's card instead. hehehe. I hope our trip will be more relaxed than those 2 hours.

The examination period was interrupted with random "Grad trip! Grad trip!"s or "3 more weeks!" or "18th May!!"... the trip felt so so so so far away then -- a mirage. But now, it feels a little bit more real, evidenced by the massive yellow luggage (which is not big enough) that is 3/4s packed and with stuff strewn all around it waiting for their turn to be given a place in my bag. And I'm bringing my brother's huge-ass haversack too; basically for my, uhm, shopping.

Tonight is the night! Our flight is at 1.20am and I've already planned which movies I want to watch on the way there and back. Hehehe. We're departing and arriving in different months, meaning we have new movies for each flight. And before our flight.. we're gonna check out the duty free shopping in the departure hall. Haha. This is ridiculous. I better budget myself properly or I might just end up having my supp card cancelled by a peeved daddy, or worse, deplete my own savings. *insert pink cheeks msn emoticon*

So.
My bag is almost packed after spending hours deciding what goes in it.
I've gotten my travel insurance.
We've booked our Exmouth tour.
We've made party plans.
We've discussed where and what cafes/restaurants to visit.
We've decided which museums to check out. (OOHHhhh)
I've brought 2 trashy books to read while drinking coffee and enjoying the weather, and hopefully will buy more books there.

I'm Ready!

Perth, here I come!
(with my empty haversack and absolutely no shopping conscience cos Charkwa is frolicking in Egypt)
