My holiday in Indo was really good. Short break, but it felt nice to get away. I went up to the hills for 2 days, and that was really the best part. Gloriously cool weather at 20 degrees - Cool enough to wear my new brown and green striped cardigan <:) :) :)> but still warm enough to prance around in shorts. Cool enough to enjoy my soak in the hot spring thoroughly but still warm enough to not freeze my uh, toes off when I got out of the water. On my second night at the hills, I sat alone outside on the porch in my PJs (I stayed in a little cottage, complete with its very own stone path leading up to it!!!!! Gawsh), reading my book and drinking hot earl grey in the dim light of the lone bulb above my head. Pure bliss. It was so damn fantastic, I could just roll over and dream many many beautiful dreams about that experience. The rest of the trip was not bad too. Back in Surabaya town, I did a tad (but I think 'tad' is always relative, isn't it?) bit of shopping cos they had some mega sales going on. Mango storewide discounts, just like here in Sg. Zara there is tons better cos they had a massive clearance. I got pissed off cos I found a dress I got here at full price on 50% off there. Boo. And I haven't even worn the dress yet. So I'm back, and still hankering after that special night on the hills. Why do we have such shit weather here?!
The view from my beloved porch. Lovely, isn't it?

My stone path!!!

Here's the cottage I stayed in. You can just see the slightest bit of my stone path leading to the steps. Gawsh, how absolutely adorable!

There were apple, strawberry, and orange plantations surrounding the hills. See how the apples are slowly turning red! Beautiful!

Flowers always bloom so much more beautifully in cold areas

I adore this photo. Managed to capture this shot of a butterfly just as it stopped for a rest on the gerbera. I think my camera quite good right.

And that's me! With another hill behind me in the background! Lovely lovely.
I would like to go back again. Or find another place that has fresh air, cool weather, and gogeous surroundings. Any places to recommend? And anyone wants to go with me???
