Friday's here! Friday's here!And I'm so glad it's the weekend. Today started off okay. Met James for brekkie at the Arts canteen, and I just have this to add: That stupid hill leading from Heng Mui Keng up to the Arts canteen is no easy feat to climb. I decided to try it out today because bus 30 was right there at the Harbourfront bus stop, and since I was gonna be late in meeting James if I waited for bus 10, I took 30. Big mistake. I had to climb up that bloody hill with the sun beating down on me. =l It was amazingly unglam, and I think I felt my curls straightening out with each sweaty step that I took. *grunt* Ah well. At least I made it to the top without dying of oxygen deficiency. Went for SEA Performance class, and I cannot believe that only 40% of the class was present today. As usual it was incredibly boring, and I was just dying to get out of there. Thank goodness the saliva-spitting lecturer decided to let us out 30mins early, and I ran to the comfort of the Arts canteen where there were at least people to entertain me. People like Alph can really brighten up your day with his joyful renditions of how he tricked Louis and Mello. =) Headed to the Giordano warehouse sale with Mello and Melch after lunch... not bad not bad. Really cheap stuff. I got 2 pairs of capris - $5 each! And a nice cotton 3/4 sleeve thing for $3!!! THREE DOLLARS!!! The cloth probably cost more than that. *grin* One big gripe I have about the sale is that a lot of it was in weird-ass sizes like XL for every single one of the spag tops - *snort* -, size 24 for all their shorts -*double snort* - and size 36 for the men's berms. They're either too huge or too tiny! As Melch said, who did they think were gonna shop there? Barbie and friends?? *gripe*Hrrr talking about Barbie, I watched Miss Congeniality 2 just now. Movie ticket courtesy of my brother. =) Not too bad I guess, but no real 6pec-building moments. And I'm wondering.. did they cut a lot of the stuff off??? Cos at the end, the bleeps&bloopers segment had some stuff that I don't remember seeing, especially the gay guy saying smtg about how he's handling breasts, and that was definitely not shown!!! That part looked highly entertaining. What's this about censorship around here anyway?! *rude sound* (much like Sandra Bullock's signature snort in the movie)Weekend's here... what will I do, what will I do? I think it's gonna be an exciting 48 hours of Paradise Lost, Renaissance essay, studying for Stage&Screen test, and badminton on Sunday. Woopee. And my maid's leaving to go visit her family in Phillippines tomorrow morning.. for an entire month. *worried* I'm supposed to cook dinner on Wednesday nights, and all I have to my great chef's name is that I can cook a mean bowl of Myojo's Prawn-flavoured noodles. With dao-gay. HOW? She's going to be away for an entire month, and if I'm gonna cook the same thing every time it's my turn to make dinner, my family's gonna be suffering from MSG-Overload. Where can I take a crash course on healthy cooking??? (Besides from my mum, cos obviously if she has the time to teach me to cook, she'll be the one cooking dinner on Wednesdays, not me.)Oh well. Guess that's not really what I have to worry about yet. I'll think about it on Wednesday afternoon.Have a great weekend !
