Went home straight from mass today cos I think I needed some time to myself. The bus journey home was good... just me and my music, totally ignoring what was going on around me, and for the last 45mins of my journey, I switched off my handphone. Just a symbolic little thing to cut myself off from the rest of the world for a bit...

I got home and finished up the gift for bro&wife... here's the stages of progress...

The poem isn't clear in the pic.. so here it is. I didn't use the angel one in the end.. obviously it would never have fit. So I used this nice simple one instead...

WHAT YOU ARE TO ME
by Ruth M. Ross

A quick glance, a tender smile,
I am caught in a spell.

A gentle touch, a warm embrace,

I know that all too well.

A soft voice, an unspoken love,
Across the way I see.

A kind face, an inner beauty,
That's what you are to me.

I hope and pray that I will be in a better mood this weekend...
