Free day but notMy comp kinda went out of whack yesterday, and such bad timing too. I desperately needed to edit some stuff for my project due yesterday afternoon, and I couldn't even log into my user account. But well my project sorted itself out, and I had to wake up at the excruciatingly painful time of 6.45am this morning to get a ride with my parents to school to go to the comp centre. Luckily I had the good sense to be super-early at the comp centre, cos the resurrecting of my laptop took 3 whole hours. And I had to wait there in the sub-zero degree airconditioning. I don't understand why they have to make it so cold. So anyway, my laptop's finally ok, and the guy managed to save my account, so I'm quite pleased. And after that I went to finally upgrade the memory on my laptop at the MPSH. That was weird.. cos I didn't bring the invoice that was supposedly given to me when I paid for my upgrade all those months ago... but the uncle there just did the upgrade for me anyway without checking to see if they really owe me an upgrade. Ah well. =)All this computer stuff took the entire morning + early afternoon! I only got home at 2pm, just in time to shower, toast my lunch (cheese sandwiches) and watched the 3pm American Idol. Constantine was so good. "Astonishing." Met Ming for dinner in town, and had a pretty good time shopping after that. I think I want a job as a personal shopper. It's really quite fun to be poking around Topman, grabbing clothes and telling the guy to try them on. And he can't even blame you because he asked you to help in the first place. Right, Ming? Spanglish after that with some of the CSS ple. I liked it. Not Adam Sandler's usual style, but I think that's refreshing. Cos we all go into the cinema expecting another 50FirstDates-type of movie, but getting something more than that. And Flor is really quite hot. I'd like to blog more abt the movie, but I'm tired, and I have to sit through another agonizing 2 hours of Flower Drum Song tomorrow morning with Angie.
